The National Pancreas Foundation (NPF) receives numerous inquiries each year from individuals and organizations who want to stage their own fundraising events in support of our Mission; these volunteer events are run independently from our national office by interested volunteers.

The path to launching a volunteer event typically begins with the idea and plan of action that is presented to the Fundraising Committee at the National Office. Upon careful review of your Volunteer Event Application (see below or click here), the Foundation assists the potential organizers in examining a variety of factors to determine if in fact the proposed event is viable.

There are many ways to raise money for the National Pancreas Foundation’s research and education programs. Whether you organize a sporting event, dinner, dress-down day at school or work, “skip-a-snack,” trunk show, or auction, you can help those with pancreatic disease while having fun with your family and friends.

Sporting events: Plan a golf outing, walk-a-thon, or bowl-a-thon to benefit NPF. Participate in a local marathon and ask friends and family to sponsor you for the miles you run. Hold an exhibition softball, soccer, or hockey game with ticket sales to benefit NPF.

Dinner events: Receptions and dinners can introduce friends to the work of NPF, while raising funds for the Foundation.

Other “Thons”: Dance-a-thon, Walk-a-thon, Read-a-thon, Good-deed-a-thon, Hop-a-thon. These activities are especially fun for children.

In order to receive printed materials (brochures, newsletters, and remit envelopes), we ask that you submit a Volunteer Event Application (click here).
